Aurora Knolls – Goldsmith is located in the middle of Aurora, a suburb east of Denver. It's a great neighborhood for families as well as Denver commuters who are attracted to an inexpensive but quiet residential experience. The bars, clubs, and restaurants in this area are scattered throughout strip malls on all of the major intersections.

Safe Streets and Easy Navigation

Aurora Knolls – Goldsmith has safe streets for bicycling and walking, however commercial areas aren"t close enough to the residential areas to make it easy to get everywhere walking. The cost of living isn't as expensive as other parts of Denver which makes it an ideal area for commuters and young families alike. Public schools in the area include Vassar Elementary School, Columbia Middle School, Rangeview High School, and many others in the Aurora school district.

Community Areas for Residents to Enjoy

The central shopping district offers a large range of stores that include both chain and independent local businesses. Two main neighborhood parks are accessible from Goldsmith: Eldorado Park and Hilltop Park. These parks are located in the center of residential neighborhoods, so busy streets aren't a safety concern for families with small children. Both parks include picnic shelters, bicycle trails, and playgrounds. Walking to the park is the perfect way to spend your weekend afternoons or summers out of school – and they are both within walking distance of the neighborhood.

Stay Connected to the City

Enjoy an array of cuisine from all around the world – close to home in Goldsmith. Take your pick from Thai, traditional American, Filipino, Greek, or French food, right here in Colorado. While many avenues and conveniences are located nearby, the highways I-225 and I-70 are easy to get to for a quick trip to Downtown Denver. In the southernmost area of Goldsmith, hop on the light rail station or Highway 83 to make your way south.

As this area is not nearly as densely populated as most other areas in the more central parts of Denver, the cost of living is a bit lower. One of the benefits of living in neighborhoods that aren't part of the “downtown" scene is the price of many amenities like gas, a pint at your local brewery, or restaurant deals.
